House tour – vintage-inspired new home
Team CLK understands that your dreams are unique, which is why we build custom homes to suit your lifestyle and needs.
We invite you to discover one of our original creations: a new home inspired by vintage design. The brief was clear: the family was attached to British interior design and wanted a new home with old-fashioned charm. Discussions with the interior design team were straightforward and clear, based on a detailed mood board with images and inspirations for the project.
The result is a completely new passive house that has a retro charm thanks to well thought-out design elements.
The retro kitchen was chosen from our partner Häcker – units with a matt grey finish and black handles for graphic appeal. To keep with the same spirit, all the appliances come from Kitchen Aid, a top-of-the-range brand renowned for its vintage aesthetic. The hob is a Bora Domino, with the hood integrated in the middle.
To complete the retro look, the worktop is made from pearl grey Dekton Kelya, a choice that is both aesthetically pleasing and practical, as it is a material that resists heat and scratches.
The ceramic sink is hidden in the worktop thanks to a floating installation. An original and very practical detail is the location of the dishwasher at the same height as the oven. For the floor, Emil Ceramica’s Château beige tiles provide the perfect touch to bring out the retro look of the kitchen. This collection is inspired by natural Burgundy stone, widely used in French architectural history.
